Last year was the "off year"--all vegetative. Prior was a tremendously heavy crop despite fruit thinning.
It grew tremendously last year without fruit, and I pruned it back hard repeatedly, with summer pruning to control the amount of branches. So this wood should have developed in good light conditions. Today the bloom just began, with just few blooms. Tonight goes down to 32F, then 50's tomorrow. I hope there are more blooms coming.
