Trout pond. weekday morning. warm, windless, glassy.
Can see fish clearly in the water, esp. in the algal rafts along the shore.
Clearly saw the trout schooling. They appeared to be in a ball, as if they had whirling disease.
I threw the kastmaster, and later a red daredevil. A few nips, a few misses, and landed only one.
Many trout small, some medium. Didnt see the large ones.
They look funny, like big anchovies. Wasn't sure that was the trout.
I think one guy caught a few bass on the woodsy shore using a crank.
