Quite a storm front came through last night, big winds, thought the power might go out. But it kind of fizzled.
Yesterday I climbed into the top of the pine tree and hacked out the thicket way up there, to let the air flow through. Less chance for storm damage.
Also cleaned up the trunks of the mulberry trees, so the tomatos will get more sun.
Should plant the remainder of the Chimayo peppers today. Corn getting taller. Sunflowers too.
Lawn growing slower, been so hot and without rain.
Could run the riding mower this afternoon, since the rest of the week is cooler.
