It's June, longest day of the year coming

Barely getting warm enough, and the longest daylength will soon be here.

Of course summer heat/humidity is coming. The growing season is on, but days will begin shortening from here on.

Berkeley marina has a long fishing pier. I walked out there, a number of people fishing--even tho it was windy and cool. Shoreline drive connects Berkeley marina back to Watergate. In fact, I think you can drive from Watergate to Ranch99 using the shoreline drive.

Checked out Trader Joe's--got a nice bottle of cheap wine. and walked around the food court at Emery Bay Public Mkt.

Next day, went out to the tip of Emeryville marina behind the Hong Kong restaurant. Old black guy fishes there a couple times each week. He's 80 yrs old. Said he's caught a couple of keeper sturgeon, and some stripers. No flounders, uses anchovys or blood worms. Another fishing beach visible across the water to the south, before you enter on ramp for the Bay bridge. One pole per angler.
