One plant trying to cover the entire surface.
New leaves emerging and unfurling.
These fish do appear to have grown quite a bit. and I think none have died, or eaten by blue herons.
Most calm in the early morning, in low light--that's when you see fish at the surface.
Fish were not shy b/c they were not expecting you to be taking their picture before 5 am!!
