Temps are holding at/above freezing, so it stayed rain in the morning, and turned to flurries. Accumulation is decreased by the amount of rain.
In the evening, seemed like 3 inches of slush in the driveway. Very heavy, very wet to push with a shovel. I contemplated getting the snowthrower out just because of that.
This storm is anticipated to strangle the midAtlantic states, esp Washington DC with 28-30 inches of snow. IAD flights are all cancelled.
Superbowl this Sunday in Miami.
Storm should clear out Saturday afternoon. Cities/airports clean up Sat-Sun.
Should be back to normal by Monday am.
