We brought all the houseplants in, or at least into the garage. Harvested all the bell peppers, and whatever tomatos. Threw a tarp over the zucchini--one last one forming.
But the cold Canadian air didn't move that far south.
So we have a week reprieve. These temps are cooler than the seasonal average.
The cold snap stopped crop development to the north and west. Corn prices are down, and yields don't look as good as forecasted. Plus this late in the season, how much can be harvested before the rains.
Getting adjusted to colder weather. Running the furnace a little bit.
Burning bushes are turning brilliant red.
